esb operating room touchpanel

The esb touchpanel is a touch screen application which is fitted into a wall of a medical operating room.
Main purpose is to controle and monitor functions within the operating room. These include lighting, climate, medical gases, electronic systems and so on.

The project included an extended research about the user needs, requirements and behaviors within this field. From there it went into conception, design and prototyping. One main goal was to optimize the usability to ensure easy operation during a medical surgery.
