X-Wave

X-Wave is a interior cockpit prototype placed in a BMW X5. I focused on concept development, design and prototyping of the cluster, the central information display (CID) and the centre console (ICP).

The cluster contains an active 3D display area in the center of the display. The CID is operated via a haptical rotary control and several touch buttons with haptic feedback situated on the ICP.

A North American and European version of this prototype was developed. For each region the interaction concept and design was build and adapted.
